He is called us to the highest rank
The Christian is called to the highest rank, that is- the Christian occupies a totally unique position in the hierarchy of the universe. Created originally in the image of God, redeemed humanity has been elevated by means of a divinely conceived genetic process known as the new birth to the highest rank of all created beings.
The redeemed is an extension of the Godhead. We read in 1Cor 6:17 "He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit" This union goes beyond a mere formal, functional, or idealistic religion. It is an organic relationship of personalities.
Through he new birth we become bona fide members of the original cosmic family see Ephesians Ch3:15
It is based on Biblical Truth - Actual generated sons of God see (1John 3:2)
We become partakers of the divine nature" see (2Peter 1:4)
In Scripture we learn that true religion is a relationship in which man stands to God.
A relationship in which man is conscious of the absolute majesty and infinite power of God and of mans own utter insignificance and absolute helplessness and hopelessness to live a life outside these bounds
Man who does not acknowledge God as creator and Sovereign over all things, sets about establishing his own righteousness.
What we believe
God is the creator and Sustainer of all life and has through creation and conscience, given us all an awareness of His existence.
Mankind is the crown of God's creation, intended for friendship with Him, but separated from Him because of our rebellion and sin.
The Bible is God's totally reliable explanation of who we are, why
the world is as it is, and how we might come to know what life is really all about.
Jesus Christ is God's only Son who came to show us exactly what God is like. In His death on the cross He bore the punishment that we deserved for our sin, and His bodily resurrection to Life declared God's acceptance of His sacrifice - once for all.
The Future is neither oblivion or hopeless but a personal encounter with the Living God in a final court of justice, in which knowing Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord is the only hope of Heaven.
Salvation is entirely a work of God's grace and cannot be earned or deserved. It has been accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ and is offered to all in the gospel. God in his love forgives sinners whom he calls, granting them repentance and faith.
All who believe in Christ are justified by faith alone, adopted into the family of God and receive eternal life.
